Chad Popple (drums, vibraphone, tabla, cornet, percussion) and Jörg Hochapfel (piano, guitar, melodica, synthesizer) know each other since 25 years and play(ed) together in Hamburg-based bands Hosho, Rocket #9 and  Piho Hupo. 

The unfailing trust between them allows the multi-instrumental improvising duo to break down all stylistic boundaries, exploring previousliy unknown musical terrain.

Chad Popple has a background in Hardcore and Math Rock (Gorge Trio, Colossamite) and studied Indian and Persian percussion instruments (tabla, mridangam, tonbak) for many years. His more recent collaborations include Polish jack-of-all trades LXMP, Powerdove, Deerhoof and Frank-Paul Schubert and Andrew Raffo Dewar.
